Description:
Editorial improvements are found throughout this new edition. Based on the latest research results, Michel has added or corrected issue dates, numbers of issue and certificates of validity in all collection areas. Regarding Slovakia, a reprint with novel perforation on the issue that commemorates the inauguration of President Čaputová was discovered. The flawed gravure printing led to significant misprints issued in the Czech Republic, including stamps without postage value or the name of the country. A block without a hologram foil slipped through quality control as well.
The checking and updating of price quotations was another editorial focal point. Slovakian perforation variations from 1943 and 1944 are still growing in value. There also is great demand for current blocks or sheetlets that depict interesting motifs. Concerning the Czech Republic, complete sheetlets of greeting stamps are particularly sought after. Even cancelled mass-produced stamps from the communist era in Czechoslovakia have increased in value. This edition features all novelties recorded in MICHEL Rundschau up to and including No. 2/2025.
