Catalogue Specifics:
Liechtenstein, Austria, Switzerland, UNO Geneva, UNO Vienna.
Description:
The volume includes numerous newly discovered type variations of Liechtenstein issues. There are imperforate specimens of all stamps issued in 1941 for the promotion of domestic agricultural products. The type variation “missing colour” found in the block issued on the occasion of the 1972 LIBA Stamp Exhibition is now documented in canceled condition. Furthermore, the catalogue includes added certificates of validity to the issues from 1967 to 1995 that were withdrawn from circulation.
For Austria, the catalogue contains two new perforation varieties as well as the first type variation of a crypto stamp. The hot-foil printing is missing from the Panda block issued in 2020. Stamps that were never issued are included in another special chapter. For the purpose of improving the overview, Michel redesigned the two issues from 1945 and added numerous photos. All affected stamps are included with a footnote indicating the validity of each schilling stamp. The same applies to the schilling stamps of the United Nations with its headquarters in Vienna.
Due to their wonderful thermal, the price quotations for Swiss pioneer flight stamps from 1913 have risen to higher spheres. Michel also was able to include the numbers of issue for another year of Swiss stamps. This edition contains all novelties introduced in MICHEL Rundschau up to and including No. 2/2025.
