Catalogue Specifics:
Andorra (French), France, Monaco.
Description:
Editorial improvements are distributed throughout the entire volume. Particularly interesting discoveries were identified from France. Self-adhesive stamps, originally from gravure stamp booklets, also were issued in sheets; this time, however, as offset stamps. France continues to pursue an active issuing policy, resulting in a remarkable 375 new main numbers. Among them are many high-quality stamps produced using the intaglio printing process. Often, motifs from older stamps were incorporated. To provide collectors with a comprehensive overview, we offer precise cross-references. Another focus was the review and updating of price listings. The Monaco stamp MiNr. 3697 I, a European stamp that was mistakenly printed without the inscription "Europa," is experiencing a surge in value. We also registered price fluctuations in the Monegasque special printings. There were increases in the prices of modern limited blocks from France, while a few high-priced items from the pre-1960 period came under price pressure. In Andorra, the prices of tariff-coded stamps were adjusted upwards. This volume contains all new issues recorded up to and including issue 3/2026 of the MICHEL Rundschau.
