Description: 

Editorial improvements are distributed throughout the entire volume. Interesting discoveries have been reported from the Czech Republic. A variety of the Komenský stamp MiNr. 283 is circulating without a face value. The geese of MiNr. 1006 seem to have indulged a bit too much in wine and have now been cataloged as an upside-down reverse-print pair. Current postage information has been entered for Slovakia and the Czech Republic, and the list of personalized decorative fields in Hungary has been expanded. In Czechoslovakia, biographical data also has been added. In addition, price quotations have been updated and reviewed. In Slovakia, there were many small increases for so-called mass-produced stamps, while first-day covers saw more significant increases. The demand for perforation varieties of the Slovak state (1939–1945) appears to be unbroken, as evidenced by various price hikes. In the Czech Republic, many prices also rose, both for interesting motifs and, more noticeably, for stamp booklets. In Czechoslovakia, we primarily reviewed the prices for the years 1945–1960, and in Hungary, we adjusted the valuations of the tariff-coded stamps.
