Scott Mounts come in a number of different sizes for use by philatelists. The mounts are made from 100% inert polystyrol foil and are designed to protect your stamps from both dust and moisture. In addition, the clear face of the mount is designed to prevent light reflections, further protecting your stamps from harm. Each Scott mount is constructed from two sheets of polystyrol foil that are sealed at both the top and bottom. The mount is split across the back, which allows for easy insertion and safe mounting of the stamp.
What Size Mounts Should I Order?
Pre-Cut Scott Mounts come in sizes labeled by stamp width by stamp height and the mounts are measured in millimeters. The strip mounts come in three lengths: 215 mm, 240 mm and 265 mm. To calculate which strip mount you require, measure the height of the stamp from top to bottom in millimeters. Select a mount that is a little larger (few millimeters) than the stamp you wish to mount, that way you do not damage the perforations of the stamps you are placing in your album. If you are utilizing the cut to size strip mounts, measure the width of the stamp and cut the mount a few millimeters wider than the stamp you wish to mount.

The best way to protect your valuable stamps

Scotts stamp mounts are by far the best way to protect your valuable stamps, with the exception of spending thousands of dollars on a hingeless album set. If that isn't an option for you then Scotts stamp mount's are the way to go. They are well made and stick very well to the supplement pages. I have used these mounts for years and love how the stamps seem too pop of the page when inserted in to the black backed mounts. I prefer the Scotts mounts over others due to the fact that the plastic material is much thicker and makes the mount much more ridged than other mounts I have tried in the past. Try them out, you won't regret it.

Bill Athens and NOLA Stamps always provide the fastest of service. I have received orders often on a Monday that were sent out the previous Saturday. The orders are packed very well and Bill really goes above the norm to see that your order is complete. I have received hundreds of stamps from NOLA and they are sent out in stock book pages and Scott #'s under each one. Not just all lumped together for you to sort out.
