The SHERLOCK watermark detector allows you to reveal the exacting details of your stamps, including watermarks, paper irregularities, quality defects, or evidence of repairs.

The Sherlock Watermark Detector is easy to use:  Simply insert your stamp, turn on the light, and view the details of your  stamps.  No chemicals are needed to use this detector, thus there is no danger to your stamps.
 
The Sherlock Watermark Detector utilizes different light colors (white, red, green, and blue) to light up a stamp. By adjusting the brightness of the powerful LEDs and the color spectrum for color and brightness you can easily reveal hard-to-find watermarks and other details about your stamp.

The SHERLOCK watermark detector is a  compact, affordable unit that offers all the technical sophistication of a professional device. The unit can be used to examine stamps up to 2 x 1 ¾" (50 x 45 mm) in size. The unit is battery powered (4 x 1.5 V AA batteries, not included) and has  reinforced plastic housing. 

This unit is made in England and measures 3 5/8 x 5 1/8 x 5 7/8" (93 x 130 x 150 mm in size.
