The Bavarian stamp booklets have been completely revised, featuring numerous new plate flaws, preservation conditions, and illustrations of joint prints. The section on the early inflation period has been significantly expanded to include newly discovered plate flaws and illustrations of previously listed printing variations and main issues.

The telegraph stamps of the German Empire, occupied Estonia, and the Channel Islands have also been extensively revised, including details on Red Cross forms, trial proofs, and ministerial printings.

Numerous plate flaws from the Saar region and German overseas post offices and colonies have also been listed for the first time.

The most significant price fluctuations were observed in the collecting areas of Old Germany, the early years of the German Empire, the Saar region, the Sudetenland, and the occupied territories during World War II.
Specialized Volume 1 is therefore a treasure trove for computer users as well.
